the word for 04.11.09 is AGE
Todays word was age. What a wide scope this gave me for my image, as you will see if you read the dictionary descpition of the word . I thought about old age in respect of human beings and animals, about wood and old buildings. A few of the memorial benchs on Putney Heath, are quite old. In their case, l know how old they are but there is no way of showing that by dates, for example to anyone else.
As l was walking through the woods, l saw trees l know are hundred of years old but with out seeing their rings, can't prove it to you! Could do boring things like show labels in clothes, eg: this jumper is for an 18 month old child or dates on top of food containers.
Then, as l was coming out of the woods to get to main road, there was a long line of cars parked on both sides of this road. Ah! car number plates in most cases, will tell you the age of the car. So my image, as you will see from above, is just that.
