Today's word is PRINT. Normally when l think of the word print, l think about newspaper prints, lino prints or maybe screen prints. Maybe a print of an art image such as The Mona LIsa or Picasso. Maybe a leaf has been pressed underfoot and left a mark in the groud..leaving a print of the leaf!
Anyway, as it had snowed again last night, we decided to go for another walk in the woods today. The sky was very grey but the snow made everything look brighter. We went and watched the children making snowmen, adults and children sledging down several hills in Wimbledon Common and lots of people just walking or taking their dogs out for a walk. The dogs seemed to be having much more fun than normal. Maybe because it was a different experience for them in touch, sound and sight! It seemed very silly to me, to see all these different dogs in fancy coats or fleggings and some in booties and a hat as well as a coat!!! Aren't dogs meant to have coats that help to keep them warm?
All the time l was walking, taking images and having fun, l was thinking about my word for the day, Print. Almost at the end of our walk, l suddenly saw the image l wanted for this word.

ReplyDeleteI have a book that l have written about 4000 words in. When ever l find a word l like, or a new word l have never heard before, l write it in my book..beside a number. Then at the beginning of each month, l get my husband, (or anyone who is at hand when l decide to do it) to choose 29, 30 or 31 numbers..at random. Then l see which number relates to what word..write it down and hey presto..l have my word list for the month. Each time l use a word l cross it out, so l cant use it again. sometimes l forget to cross it out but it has only happened a few times. That way l cannot cheap and only pick words l like! Some times when a word is difficult, l wish l did it another way! but l promise l do not cheat because l picked this challenge to exercise my little grey imagery cells.....if l cheated it would defeat the challenge. hope that amswers your question.
Most of the snow around us has melted now but in the woods its still beautiful and there is a lot of snow still lying around. Enough to to slidding down them again on my blue plastic rubble bag again! Did you see my video of me on the bag on Face bk?
